A newly-formed, L.A.-based group of women developers is teaching aclass on Python programming that is designed to be friendly toabsolute beginners!

Intro to Python Workshop

DATE:  May 15, 2011, 9:30am-4:30pm (followed by an optional social hour)
LOCATION: Crawford Family Forum, 474 South Raymond Avenue, Pasadena, California, 91105

COST: $25 plus ticketing fee (breakfast and lunch are included in the ticket price)

The class will be taught using material based on Zed Shaw’s “LearnPython the Hard Way.”

The instructors will be Audrey Roy and KatharineJarmul, with assistance from Christine Cheung, Esther Nam, JessicaStanton, Sandy Strong, and Sophia Viklund.
