Junior Core Java developer, Los Angeles

Its a contract opportunity for 1year. Looking for Java developer with 1-2years expereince with Masters degree.

Required:

• OOPS, Threading, Collections, IO
• Knowledge on HTTP, XML, Javascript, Servlets, Ant – Candidate should have atleast a min working experience(6   months) in these. These technologies should not be new when mentioned.
• Design Patterns – should be very strong
• Good Problem solving skills – should be capable of applying design patterns to solve problems (candidate should be very strong in OO design)
• Experience on data processing applications.
• Good knowledge in database concepts (Oracle, Sql Server etc.,)
• Ability to work independently
• Exposure to financial systems would be a plus
• Knowledge on Perl and C++ – Nice to have
