Php/LAMP Web Developer, Santa Monica

Hot new Santa Monica-based subscription-commerce startup seeks a Php Developer to help carry our business to the next level. You will work with DSC CTO to progress our technological platform and infrastructure. You will develop on Drupal, Magento and help support the business with day to day operations.

DollarShaveClub.com is backed by Science Media, an LA-based startup incubation studio. Working inside the Science offices, you will have the opportunity to collaborate & interface with Science partners; some of the brightest, most-experienced minds in the business.

Required Skills

• PHP5 – Candidate should be a  PHP5 developer capable of creating and debugging modules in Drupal & Magento
• MySQL – Modern database development expertise, ability to debug and develop queries
• XHTML/CSS/Javascript/AJAX – Proficiency in Javascript/XHTML/CSS development will be necessary. jQuery experience preferred.
• Object Oriented Development / CS Background – Ideal candidates should understand object oriented development, and apply OO concepts to everything they do. Formal CS background or experience preferred.
• Self-Starter – Looking for candidates who can jump in quickly without a lot of direction.

Experience
This is a senior position; we’re looking for somebody who has at least 2+ years of web development experience.
Must live in, or be willing to relocate to Los Angeles
