Senior PHP / LAMP Developer, Los Angeles

We are looking for a Senior LAMP developer to join a team that is responsible for the design and development of high-traffic web properties. In this position the ideal candidate will work within a fast-paced and challenging environment to develop applications in PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, CSS and HTML.

This position is geared towards a creative, logical, and self-driven person who can provide a technical vision. High standards for quality, attention to detail and responsibility are key attributes of this position.

Primary Responsibilities

• Architect and document scalable software
• Design and develop dynamic, high traffic web applications
• Generate application flow charts and technical documentation
• Interface with editors and users and workout solutions
• Keep abreast with the latest technologies and apply them

Job Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in Object Oriented programming in PHP
• 5+ years experience with MySQL
• Must be a team player
• Must have expertise in coding MVC design patterns
• Must be comfortable working with source control and unit testing
• Experience with Zend Framework a big plus
• Fluent in either T-SQL or ANSI-SQL scripting languages
• Fluent in JavaScript, CSS, HTML, JQuery and AJAX technologies
• Expertise with apache configuration, load balancing and caching technologies
• Proven experience in troubleshooting and solving complex problems.
• Must demonstrate good communications skills
• Must be highly motivated, creative and thorough
